John & Libby Headid

John and Libby Headid have been together for 17 years. John lived overseas while serving in the US Air Force and then came home to work in law enforcement for the next 23 years. He met Libby while working as a Fremont Police Sergeant, training a new officer. They were doing random business “check-ins” around town and happened to stop in at Libby’s business. The rest is history.  When they met, Libby had a son and John had 2 sons.  They married and had a daughter together. The result is a perfect blend of his, hers, and ours. Libby is currently an owner-partner, associate broker, and REALTOR® at Don Peterson & Associates. She loves what she does! John hung up his Police duty belt 4 years ago and now he is also a REALTOR® with Don Peterson & Associates and runs Headid’s Rental Homes. They live on a lake and enjoy every moment of the lake living lifestyle. Any free time Libby finds away from the office is spent boating or hiking with their 3 dogs. John’s free time is also spent on the boat or attending any sporting event he can get tickets to. Though the Headids aren’t originally from Fremont they’ve embraced it and fully consider themselves diehard Fremonters and love being active in and supporting the community.
