Mike Hogan
Morning Show Host/Operations Manager, KHUB and The Best Mix 105.5
A Midwest kid who has lived on both coasts, Mike Hogan is now Operations Manager and host of The Morning Show on 1340 KHUB and The Best Mix 105.5 and in the midst of a multi-decade radio career (with time off for good behavior!). Mike’s radio career has taken him across the country. Before joining Walnut Radio, he spun records in St. Louis, reviewed movies and did play-by-play in Los Angeles, then arrived in Omaha to host talk radio and do a stint as the play-by-play/color commentary voice for the Omaha Lancer’s. In between radio jobs, Mike went to his “fall back” careers, which included acting (also known as “waiting tables”), Information Technology Consulting Sales (a.k.a “pimping”), and stand-up comedy (Hmmm…Sounds like unemployment to me!)
You’ve heard of that proverbial “Fifteen Minutes of Fame,” well Mike has used only 4 and a half minutes of his allotment. He has been seen in the movies “Stay Tuned” and “Elvis and The Colonel: The Untold Story,” as well as the television shows “Hearts Afire” and “Beverly Hills, 90210.” It is his dream to be elected “Mr. Habitat” to use the remaining 10 and a half minutes of “fame eligibility” he has left!
Mike is happily married to his beautiful bride of 15 years, Jill, and is grateful to be a part of this Habitat for Humanity fundraiser. He thanks you for coming out to support such a great cause and for not barfing during the “Swimwear” competition!
